REBECCA HEADS TO SAN FRANCISCO!

After all that airline travel, it seemed only fair to gas up the white Nissan Sentra and head north to test Rebecca's stamina on that great American vacation: The Road Trip!

And what's a road trip without a nice comfy carseat? Here's Rebecca on the beach at Morro Bay near San Louis Obisbo.

We visited our friends Nisha, Rushdie and Isa in San Luis Obisbo. Nisha, Dan and Rebecca open up a can of worms by initiating the ongoing debate among pediatricians over whether Rebecca is "cute" or "lovely."

Dan, Rebecca and the carseat plot ways in which they will smuggle sand into the car.

Late on Friday night, Rebecca meets most of her Mirvish cousins in San Francisco: Asher, Ezra, (Dan), Lissa, (Rebecca) & Adrian.

After getting lost in Oakland at 1 in the morning, we finally made it to our friend "Steve Z's" apartment, where he and "L" taught "R" to speak Catalan (and just when she had finally figured out Spanish!). Did we mention that our friends are in the witness protection program?

Jim and Mia couldn't get enough of Rebecca in New York, so they hastily arranged a wedding picnic in San Francisco just to entertain Rebecca.

Rich and fiancee Sandy took Rebecca (and her parents) on a walk around Golden Gate park. Hmmm, wonder if it gave them any ideas?

Consumer Alert!!! This model carseat will soon be recalled for having faulty geese growing out of it.

Roy "Uncle Boom Boom" Lin ponders the ongoing pediatric quandry - Lovely vs. Cute? - as he considers his own procreative future.

The nuclear family poses on the Redlands wetlands with the San Francisco Bay in the background. If this were in L.A., it'd be a great spot to build a movie studio.

One final meeting in Berkley to justify writing off the whole trip: Rebecca gives Slamdance.Com webgeeks Shane and Dave a lesson in HTML programming.
